(WVUE) - For the first time in more than 50 years, Chalmette High is preparing for the start of school without its beloved leader Wayne Warner. “I keep hearing that, you have some big shoes to fill and yeah, absolutely. They are some huge shoes to fill and no one in this world can fill those shoes,” said Will Schneider, acting principal at Chalmette High.

Louisiana Club Earns ‘Best Golf Course’ in U.S. Honors
The game of golf is alive and well in the state of Louisiana. According to golflink.com there are 140 golf courses in Louisiana. Eighty of those courses are public courses, another 30 are private courses, and still another 30 would qualify to be called municipal golf courses. Louisiana even has its own "Golf Trail".
Morrell calls on administration to toughen collections for traffic camera tickets
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans City Council Vice President JP Morrell is calling on the city’s administration to toughen its stance on the worst traffic camera offenders. A Fox 8 investigation this May found the city is owed more than $135 million in traffic camera tickets. It found hundreds of drivers owe more than $10 thousand in tickets.
