New Orleans Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick spoke during Thursday's Mardi Gras Advisory Committee meeting. She said that having the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras back to back is a huge undertaking, but they will call on agencies like Louisiana State Police to ensure they are controlling the crowds and keeping people safe.
