Hopedale Day in the Park Set for September 21

Study Confirms Westborough Overextended Wastewater Capacity
By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A new study reportedly confirms that Westborough overextended its wastewater treatment abilities when issuing permits for the past several years. The Community Advocate cites the study commissioned by the Department of Public Works for the Westborough Wastewater Treatment plant which is also used by Shrewsbury and Hopkinton. Earlier this year the town put a moratorium on any new permits through at least spring 2025 while the town studies the problem and weighs potential solutions.

An inmate has been sentenced for his role in the deadly bludgeoning of infamous Boston gangster James "Whitey" Bulger in a West Virginia federal prison in 2018. The inmate, Paul J. Fundraisers created for family of 13-year-old hit by car in Worcester
Several fundraisers are collecting money to help the family of a 13-year-old girl who was seriously injured while crossing the street in Worcester on Monday.
