NORTHAMPTON — A federal lawsuit alleging that Northampton High School’s inaction toward bullying caused a teenager’s suicide will advance, a judge has ruled. In a memorandum filed July 1, U.S. District Court Judge Mark G. Mastroianni denied the city of Northampton’s motion to dismiss the wrongful death lawsuit involving the girl, 16, who killed herself after being racially victimized, cyberbullied and physical assaulted by her peers.
