PARAMUS — A church pastor was charged with nearly two dozen sexual assault charges involving a child. Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said his office's Special Victims Unit was contacted Thursday about the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile in the past by Stephen E. Sweet of Paramus. Man Arrested In Denville With Active Court Warrant
DENVILLE, NJ - The Denville Police Department says they arrested a man with an active court warrant out of Paterson, New Jersey. On July 14, Denville Police stopped a vehicle after noticing the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. 63-year-old Anthony Ward of Paterson was found to have a suspended driver’s license and active court warrant. Ward was arrested and brought to Denville Police Headquarters for processing. Rockaway man dies from injuries days after Lafayette motorcycle crash
A Rockaway Township man died due to his injuries days after he crashed his motorcycle in Lafayette on the Fourth of July, police said. Timothy Angle, 64, was driving a Victory motorcycle east on Monroe Road around 6 p.m. when he went off the roadway while negotiating a curve, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.
