Feds moving Newburgh Social Security Office to Town of Wallkill
TOWN OF WALLKILL – If you are planning to conduct business at the Social Security Administration Office in the City of Newburgh – surprise. It’s closed. It was shut down on Thursday afternoon and will be moved to 85 Crystal Run Road in the Town of Wallkill.

Over two hundred anglers dotted the walls of the pond at Edgemont Park for the town’s annual Fishing Derby sponsored by the Montclair’s Police Athletic League. Montclair police captain Tyrone Williams Jr., the event’s coordinator, said the fishing derby started about 15 years ago at Yantecaw Brook Park. “We outgrew that space and moved to Edgemont. 6-month-old dies after being left alone in hot car, cops say
A baby died on Wednesday after being alone left in a hot car in Morris County, at least the second infant hot car death to occur in New Jersey this week. The 6-month old girl was found in a car that was in a parking lot near South Ridgedale Avenue at Route 10 in East Hanover, authorities said. Police responded to a 911 call reporting the incident at 1:30 p.m., the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.

2 New Jersey residents plead guilty to helping physician distribute opioids
Two residents in Paterson, N.J., admitted to conspiring with a physician to distribute opioids without a legitimate medical reason. Jasmine McGregor, 32, and Jhenelle Lewis, 35, pleaded guilty to conspiring with Lisa Ferraro, MD, to prescribe oxycodone to people who were not actually Dr. Ferraro’s patients and whom she never examined or questioned, according to a July 18 news release from the Justice Department.
