South Carolina Surf Soccer club clinches ECNL national title in double OT
RICHMOND, VA (WCIV) — A local youth soccer team won the ECNL league's national championship in Richmond, Virginia Thursday, July 18. The South Carolina Surf Soccer club reportedly won the match 3-2 in a double overtime win.
Drunken Antics At Solomons Tiki Bar Lands Pair From Virginia Behind Bars: Sheriff
Craig Michael Conway, 53, and Alina Pitts, 30, both of Arlington, got some beer muscles while at the Tiki Bar on Charles Street in Solomons, landing them both behind bars. According to the Charles County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to investigate an active fight in progress at the popular bar, and upon arrival found Conway accosting and approaching on security staff.
Pair of manatees spotted in the Hague in Norfolk
Two manatees were spotted Thursday morning in the Hague, a relatively rare sight in the Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk. The sea cows were spotted about 10 a.m. by a Daily Press/Virginian-Pilot staff photographer, who said they were about 6-8 feet long, from the Hague’s pedestrian bridge. Since 1982, one of Style Weekly’s most distinguishable features is the arresting photography featured in both its print issues and online. In that time, Style’s photographers captured some of the most significant moments in our town’s history. Many of these images are now on display at The Valentine as part of its new exhibit “Portraits: The Style Weekly Photograph Archive.”

This is actually an exciting change that should help the whole Reynolds community when looking for academic databases and articles.
