CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Warm, muggy conditions will start off the day on Tuesday with morning lows in the upper 70s through most of the area. Tuesday and Wednesday will stay very hot with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 90s with high heat index values. Daily heat index values between 105 - 110° will be possible through the middle of the work week. A few storms will be possible Tuesday and Wednesday, but rain and storm coverage will increase later this week thanks to an approaching front.

Man arrested after K-9 finds narcotics during Summerville traffic stop
BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested a man after a large amount of narcotics were found during a traffic stop. Shawn Casey Thieman, 32, is charged with trafficking methamphetamine more than 100 grams but less than 200 grams, trafficking heroin, possession of a scheduled narcotic and manufacturing a scheduled narcotic.
