First ever West Virginia Moonshine Festival taking place next week

HARPERS FERRY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – West Virginia’s first-ever Moonshine Festival will take place next week.

On Saturday, July 6, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the inaugural West Virginia Moonshine Festival will take place at the Barn of Harpers Ferry.

The venue is located at 1062 Washington St. in Harpers Ferry.

This event promises a day filled with unique flavors, live music, and spirited competition.

Moonshine enthusiasts will have the opportunity to sample and enjoy a variety of moonshine tastings and cocktails provided by distillers from across the state.

Participating distilleries include:

Bootleg Distilling (Martinsburg)

Country Roads Distillery (Wheeling)

Devil’s Due Distillery (Kernysville)

RADA Distillery at Flying Squirrel Ranch (Purgitsville)

Still Hollow Spirits (Harman)

Swilled Dog Spirits (Upper Tract)

The Original Hatfield Family Distillery (Gilbert)

Attendees can also look forward to a moonshine judging competition, where expert distillers will showcase their finest creations.

For those looking to satisfy their appetites, food vendors Taco Mixto and Old Firemans BBQ will be on-site, offering a variety of delicious options.

Live music is also planned for the festival.

Tickets are limited and are priced at $10 in advance and $18 at the door.
