HOUSTON, Texas — A Harris County constable deputy has been commended for his investigative work in solving a purse theft case from a local Costco store. On July 19, 2024, Sergeant Pleytez from Constable Mark Herman's office presented Deputy Springfield with a commendation for his excellent investigative work and pursuit of leads involving the theft of a purse from the Costco store located at 26000 Northwest Freeway in MUD 391. According to the press release, the suspect used the complainant's stolen credit cards to make various purchases at a nearby Academy store.
