Supporters of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. marched petitions through Harrisburg to the Department of State to turn in the required signatures for the third-party candidate to be part of the Pennsylvania ballot.

Independent candidates need 5,000 signatures and organizers estimate they’ve turned in nearly three times that amount.

They know a lot of people think RFK can’t win and will just siphon votes from Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, but they disagree.

“It’s important to give people an option.” said Bill Cox, director of RFK’s campaign in Pennsylvania. “Bobby spent his live fighting for the average person whether it’s his organizations like the Children’s Health Defense and the Riverkeepers Organization. He’s shown he’s not afraid to get out and fight large corporations like Monsanto.”

The Kennedy Campaign said it is officially on the ballot in 13 states and has submitted the required signatures in 19 more, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
