    Area colleges name Rhea students to Dean's Lists

    RHEA COUNTY — Area college’s recently announced Rhea County students who made their respective school’s Deans Lists.

    Austin Peay State University

    Austin Peay State University recently announced that Makenzie Isbill of Dayton and Christopher Tallent of Spring City made the Spring 2024 Dean’s List.

    To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or greater.

    Lincoln Memorial University

    Hannah Fugate, of Spring City, Tennessee (37381), was named to the Lincoln Memorial University Dean’s List for the spring semester of 2024. To be placed on the Dean’s List, the student must be a full-time undergraduate and have a 3.5 or higher grade-point-average for the semester. Over 630 students were recognized for high academic achievement.

    Lincoln Memorial University is a values-based learning community dedicated to providing educational experiences in the liberal arts and professional studies.     Tennessee Tech University

    Tennessee Tech University is proud to announce that nearly 4,100 students have been named to the Spring 2024 Dean’s List.

    To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must attend the university full-time and achieve a grade-point average of at least 3.1 on a 4.0 scale.

    The following local students earned this prestigious honor: Abby Daniel of Spring City, Aulbrey Smith of Grandview, Cameron Daniel of Spring City, Cassidy Newby of Dayton, Charity Campbell of Spring City, Darcy Holloway of Spring City, Dylan Johnson of Spring City, Elizabeth Johnston of Dayton, Emily Sorrow of Dayton, Emma Mcclain of Spring City, Isabella Crump of Dayton, Jacob Clark of Dayton, Jacob Reed of Dayton, Jamie Coulter of Spring City, Jessa Dodson of Dayton, Kaelin Barger of Grandview, Larry Pendergrass of Dayton, Mark Crump of Dayton, Michaela Taylor of Evensville, Rickey Harvey of Graysville, Ryleigh Cook of Grandview and Sydney Williams of Grandview.

    Middle Tennessee State University

    Middle Tennessee State University is congratulating 5,475 students who appear on the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester.

    To qualify for this distinction, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester grade-point average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours.

    Area students who made the list include: Falon Cornwell of Dayton , Lauren Jenkins of Evensville and Baylee Killingsworth of Spring City.
