City of Virginia Beach sues insulin makers over pricing
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The City of Virginia Beach says it is suing insulin makers for insulin pricing. In a statement to 13News Now, a city spokesperson said it provides "critical" health services for over 450,000 residents and maintains a self-insured health plan. The spokesperson said it cost the City over $9 million to provide diabetes medications to its more than 5,900 health plan subscribers and their dependents between 2018 and 2022.

Pungo Ferry Bridge closes briefly after tugboat hit
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Pungo Ferry Road at the Pungo Ferry Bridge closed briefly on Friday after it was hit by a tugboat. No injuries or damage to the boat were reported, according to the Virginia Beach Fire Department. Drunken Antics At Solomons Tiki Bar Lands Pair From Virginia Behind Bars: Sheriff
Craig Michael Conway, 53, and Alina Pitts, 30, both of Arlington, got some beer muscles while at the Tiki Bar on Charles Street in Solomons, landing them both behind bars. According to the Charles County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to investigate an active fight in progress at the popular bar, and upon arrival found Conway accosting and approaching on security staff.
