First Alert Forecast | One More Day In The ‘Tropics’
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - We’ve spent most of the week bathed in this stuffy humidity, but taking the whole of the region into account, not a lot of us have much actual rainfall to show for it. There have been the isolated downpour here and there, and today will end up continuing that thought as a weak front tries its level best to drop through and push all this humidity to the south. Any spot can see that shower or storm develop, but a good place to see them this afternoon will be along this front as it tepidly progresses southward. High temperatures will again be in the 80s, but it will feel like the 90s in any steamy sunshine. Toward evening, we should start to notice some gentle northerly breezes flow into our northern counties, and the humidity will start to dial back a bit as this meager front we’ve been tracking will finally get the push it needs to get through our area and set us up nicely for tomorrow.
