    27-year-old CT man killed in hit-and-run in Hartford; police seek driver

    A 27-year-old East Hartford man died in a hit and run crash early Sunday morning in Hartford, according to Hartford police.

    Police said a black Infiniti sedan struck Rosevelt Vann Jr., who was riding a bike in the area of the 600 block of Albany Avenue. The driver allegedly evaded the scene eastbound on Albany Avenue and then southbound on Garden Street at approximately 12:02 a.m. Sunday morning, police said.

    Vann suffered severe injuries and was rushed to Saint Francis Hospital Emergency Room, where he died a few hours after the crash, according to police.

    Detectives from the Crime Scene Division responded to the scene of the crash and assumed control of the active and ongoing investigation.
