    Audio Feed local music series returns with sweet summer sounds at Old State House in Hartford

    Audio Feed . a free live local music series, is returning to Hartford this month with weekly shows on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at noon.

    That’s twice the number of concerts that Audio Feed used to offer. The series, which hasn’t taken place since 2021, offers prime exposure to Connecticut musicians in an accessible outdoor setting.

    The concerts kick off on July 10 and continue through September.

    The Tuesday concerts happen outdoors from noon to 1 p.m. in the plaza between the Old State House and State House Square on Main Street in Hartford during the weekly farmers market.

    The Tuesday Audio Feed schedule includes:

    July 9: R&B/pop vocalist Alisa Velasquez.

    July 16: Keyboardist/vocalist Simone Marie.

    July 23: Nekita Waller, a former Connecticut state troubadour,

    July 30: Americana singer/songwriter Andy Wakeman.

    Aug. 6: A scaled-down version of the power pop band Shellye Valauskas Experience, with just Valauskas and her husband Dean Falcone playing acoustic.

    Aug. 13: Folk/Americana singer/songwriter Liz Reed.

    Aug. 20: R&B artist NadaButVibes.

    Aug. 27: Classical guitarist Nick Cutroneo.

    Sept. 3: Eclectic guitarist Nichi-Ji.

    Sept. 10: Reggae act I Anbassa.

    Sept. 17: Rock trio Haunting Titans.

    Sept. 24: Folk singer/songwriter Ann Marie Menta.

    The Wednesday concerts are indoors at the State House Square food court from noon to 1 p.m. Those shows include:

    July 10: Folk pop artist Heather McLarney.

    July 17: Alt-pop singer/songwriter Sarah Golley.

    July 24: Sibling pop duo Cessa and The Zach.

    July 31: Celtic folk trio Last Night’s Fun.

    Aug. 7: Singer/songwriter Adelaide Punkin.

    Aug. 14: Spiritual percussionist Jim LoPresti.

    Aug. 21: Hip-hop from Tang Sauce.

    Aug. 28: Folk rock duo Inner Groove.

    Sept. 4: Exemplary folk/rock singer/songwriter Seth Adam.

    Sept. 11: “Freak folk” artist Asher Kai.

    Sept. 18: Country singer Jeff Przech.

    Sept. 25: The local folk/pop supergroup The Bargain, with Frank Critelli, Shandy Lawson, and Muddy Rivers.

    Audio Feed is curated by noted local music scene booster Chip McCabe. He is the director of placemaking and events for the Hartford Business Improvement District , which organizes the series and promotes it through its Hartford.com website.
