    Man in critical condition after double shooting in Hartford on Fourth of July

    HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford police say one person is in critical condition and another injured after a shooting on Seymour Street Thursday night.

    Police responded to Hartford Hospital around 11:24 p.m. after a 19-year-old gunshot victim appeared for treatment, transported by a private vehicle.

    According to police, he was listed in critical condition.

    Woman dead, man injured in Hartford double shooting

    A second gunshot victim in his twenties was picked up by an ambulance while trying to walk to a hospital. Police said he was in stable condition.

    Officers determined the two men were shot while in the area of 192 Seymour Street.

    The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are investigating.

    Police said the shooting has no connection to another shooting which left a women dead and a man injured on Cleveland Avenue around the same time.
