Sun to clouds today, turning stormy overnight

What an amazing day yesterday, truly perfect summer day!

After a comfy and sunny start on this Sunday morning, the sun will fade behind afternoon clouds rolling in from the east. Some showers and rain develop late Sunday night and will continue into Monday. The wind may pick up a bit, especially in southeastern areas as a low pressure system spins by just to the east. It may have a tropical system feel but the winds should remain light as the system is weak and appears to stay to our east. The Cape looks to see more impact with some steadier rain/wind but nothing damaging or severe which is good.

The humidity comes back so it will also be much more uncomfortable for most of the week. There will be also be some chances for showers/storms during the week. No washouts seem likely as of now though which is good.

Today: Morning sun will give way to afternoon cloudiness, increasing humidity. Highs in the low to mid 80s.

Tonight: Cloudy skies with showers developing. Lows in the mid 60s

Monday: Cloudy and humid with periods of rain. Breezy at times. A tropical feel! Highs around 80.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, humid with a widely scattered PM thundershower. Highs in the mid-80s.

Wednesday: Hazy sun and humid with scattered PM thundershowers. Highs mid-upper 80s.

Thursday: Partly sunny, hazy with oppressive humidity with scattered thundershowers. Highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Friday: Sun and clouds with oppressive humidity and scattered thundershowers. Highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Saturday: Hazy, hot and humid. Highs near 90.
