Oweh says ‘no-brainer’ transferring to Kentucky
LEXINGTON, Ky. (KT) — Otega Oweh eventually wanted to play at the next level and considered it a “no-brainer” when he decided to transfer to Kentucky. “The history is so rich,” Oweh said. “The plan that coach (Mark) Pope had for the program — I was really intrigued with it at the end of the day with Kentucky. I want to be a pro. I mean, this is one of the best places in the country to do that.”
Somewhere KY or TN, USA
This was shot during a road trip to Kentucky and Tennessee. My wife and I flew to Louisville and drove to Nashville via Bowling Green, where we visited my daughter and continued on. Coming from the New York metropolitan area, it is refreshing to see the horizon line of the Midwest.
Few showers possible Sunday, daily chances for showers and storms next week
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - High pressure in place over the Ohio River Valley will begin to drift away to our north tonight and into Sunday. The area of low pressure that has brought showers and storms to the southeastern United States, for the last several days, will begin to drift northward on Sunday. Sunday will feature partly to mostly cloudy skies with the chance for an isolated shower or even a thunderstorm, primarily in the afternoon and evening. However, I do think most locations will remain dry. Highs on Sunday will reach the mid-80s with winds out of the north between 3-5 mph. The slight chance for isolated showers and storms will persist into Sunday evening. Overnight lows will drop into the mid to upper 60s.
