    American Legion baseball: Fort knocked off by Hartland, 10-3

    HARTLAND — Fort Atkinson’s Senior Legion 19U baseball team lost to host Hartland 10-3 on Thursday.

    Hartland, which held a 15-8 edge in hits, scored three times in the first inning including on Jacob Lorbecki’s two-run home run to left field.

    Hartland added five runs on five hits in the fourth to lead 8-2.

    Brooks Bigler started for Hartland, allowing two earned runs on six hits over 6 1/3 innings.

    Drew Enger, who allowed eight earned runs on 13 hits in four frames, took the loss for the Hawks.

    Fort’s Jordan Zahn and Alexis Martinez both tallied two hits, including a double.

    Fort faces East Troy at Jones Park on Monday at 6 p.m.
