Akron man arrested in connection to Middlebury assault Monday
A 35-year-old man was arrested Monday in connection to an assault charge in Middlebury, according to Akron police. Officers responded at about 2:47 p.m. after a local hospital notified the police of an assault. Upon arrival, police spoke with the victim who reported she was assaulted and held against her will at an apartment in the 700 block of East Buchtel Street. The victim, listed in stable condition, had several visible injuries on her body, police said.
