Freehold Township got it done through the air as Nick Cardone tossed four touchdowns to defeat Toms River South 35-14 in Toms River. Freehold Township took control early and led 21-6 at halftime before pushing it to a 28-6 game with 7:37 to go thanks to a 13-yard touchdown from Justin Tamai. HAZLET, NJ: There are those extraordinary people we meet in our lives who give back to the community as a part of their every day life. Hazlet's Robert G. Weigand, 95, is one of those people. He was recently recognized for 75 years of dedication and service with the Hazlet Volunteer Fire Department. Jackson police, in collaboration with the Toms River Police Department, is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in a credit card fraud incident.
