Youth Entertainment Series Returns to the Pella Opera House in Late July
The Pella Opera House will host its free early elementary kids show Overall Buddies with Lori Lynn on Tuesday, July 30th at 10 am. The Overall Buddies program is part of the Pella Opera House’s Youth Entertainment Series (Y.E.S.) sponsored by Vermeer and no tickets are necessary to attend. The program will be performed by Lori Lynn Ahrends, who is a children’s singer/songwriter and international speaker with a Master’s Degree in education. Pella Opera House Executive Director Cyndi Atkins says the Youth Entertainment Series is a great way to offer a variety of programs to kids of all ages.
Variety of Musical Acts to Highlight RAGBRAI Entertainment in Knoxville
A full musical performance lineup will highlight the entertainment for RAGBRAI’s overnight stop in Knoxville on July 24th. The concert presented by Weiler will consist of performances from Mason Hatch from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm, Iowa Corn 350 National Anthem performer Neva Alden from 2:30pm-4:00pm, Lucas Bebee from 4:30pm-6:00pm, The Punching Pandas from 6:30pm-8:30pm, and the headliner for the night will be well renowned rock and roll cover band Hairball starting at 9.
