Investigating a break-in at a Luzerne County post office
A break in at a Luzerne County post office over the weekend has local police and postal investigator's working to identify the suspect and determine what was taken. According to postal authorities the post office on Dock Street in Pittston was burglarized Saturday night. If anyone was expecting a package and did not receive it, they are asked to contact local police or the Postal Inspection Service at 610-668-4515.

Inflation-weary consumers could soon see changes coming to their favorite drinking establishments that will be gentler on their wallets. Longer happy hours and combo meals that include an adult beverage are among a number of changes to the state’s liquor code included in a bill the House approved on Wednesday sent to Gov. Josh Shapiro’s desk. Shapiro spokesman Manuel Bonder said the governor is expected to sign it.
Six Berks LaunchBox startups awarded ‘Grow Your Startup Grants’
The Berks LaunchBox powered by Penn State recently awarded six startup companies with, “Grow Your Startup Grants,” which provide entrepreneurs participating in Berks LaunchBox programs with $500 towards a need they have identified. Startup needs include talent to help with prototyping, marketing and design, or registration for an educational conference or training session. These grants are funded by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community and Economic Development to Invent Penn State.
