Ohio bulletin issued for new, deadly drug combinations
(The Center Square) – Mixtures of powerful drugs that can cause overdoses or skin wounds are being found more often in illicit drug samples throughout Ohio, according to the Ohio Narcotics Intelligence Center. The agency recently issued a safety bulletin to alert Ohioans of what it calls “tranq-dope” and “benzo-dope” after state labs reported an eight-fold increase in drug samples in one and double the number in the other between 2021 and 2023. ...

Ohio Man Arrested on Felony Charge for Alleged Role in January 6 Capitol Riot
An Ohio man, David Valentine, 46, of Wilmington, was recently apprehended on a slew of charges connected to his purported involvement in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Arrested in Milwaukee yesterday, Valentine faces allegations including a felony charge of civil disorder, among others, as the U.S. Department of Justice reported.

Many generous donations made in ‘Teachers Rock’ campaign
WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Convention and Visitors Bureau extends a heartfelt thanks to everyone who generously donated to the “Teachers Rock” campaign.
