Three people shot in Jersey City in 25-hour span
Three people were shot in Jersey City between early Sunday and early Monday morning and three people were robbed at gunpoint, capping a violent weekend in the city. New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery appointed new medical director roles in Florida. Sheeraz Qureshi, MD, is chief medical officer of HSS Florida and succeeds Douglas Padgett, MD, according to a July 22 news release. He has been co-chief of HSS Spine and holds the Patty and Jay Baker Chair in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.
