Off-duty NYPD officer arrested in Brooklyn: police
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested Sunday night in Brooklyn, according to authorities. Noe Tattegrain, 37, was taken into custody around 10:30 p.m. He was charged with assault and suspended without pay, according to authorities. Tattegrain allegedly attacked his significant other during a domestic incident, sources told PIX11 News.

The Hasbrouck Heights Public Library and Youth Services Librarian, Maureen Herman, welcomed ZoophoriaNJ, an organization focused on educating children about wildlife. ZoophoriaNJ offered a special wildlife program that combined art and animals. The program consisted of meeting and learning about four different animals, hearing about conservation efforts, and finally, making a “Bucket List Journal” to imagine all the places and animals you want to see in the future. 3 eastbound lanes on Rt. 3 in Clifton will remain closed through Tuesday morning, July 23
Route 3 eastbound remains closed following the tractor trailer crash and fire this morning in Clifton, Passaic County. Route 3 westbound reopened at 5:30 p.m., the NJDOT says. Later tonight, upon completion of the investigation and cleanup, one lane on Route 3 eastbound is expected to reopen. The three right lanes and the Valley Road ramp to Route 3 eastbound will remain closed until at least 5 a.m., Tuesday, July 23 for emergency repairs.
Father, 2 kids killed in crash on Pennsylvania Turnpike
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A father and his two children were killed in a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lancaster County over the weekend.In a release, Pennsylvania State Police said the deadly crash happened on the Turnpike in the area of mile marker 268.7 in Penn Township, Lancaster County, on Saturday around 4:25 a.m. State police said the driver of a tractor-trailer hit the driver of a Honda Accord in the right lane, knocking both vehicles off the road. All three people in the Honda died, authorities said. Both vehicles were headed eastbound. LancasterOnline reported that the three victims in the Honda Accord were identified as 43-year-old Donnell Hickson, of New York, 18-year-old Decir Hickson, of Pittsburgh, and an unidentified 11-year-old girl. Their deaths were reportedly ruled by the coroner as accidental. Law enforcement told LancasterOnline that the tractor-trailer overturned on top of the Honda. The truck driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are investigating the crash.
