Third degree arson charges filed
A woman was charged with third degree arson after she allegedly set fire to land owned by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, according to Haskell County District Court records. On June 30, Stigler Police officer Ryan Bibee was on patrol when he saw Cindy M. Mann, 55, of Poteau standing in the ditch area on the east side of City Lake Road. He also thought he saw a burned area at the feet of Mann, according to court documents.
