A Kansas mom and her daughters who suddenly disappeared may have been forced to leave the country to travel to a religious rehab in Mexico by an elderly couple, according to cops.

23-year-old Martha Unger and her daughters Madilynn Grace Unger, 2, and Haylie Faith Unger, 1, were reported missing from rural Haskell County, Texas , just before 7 pm on June 28. Investigators believe that the family may have been "coerced to travel to Mexico to a religious rehabilitation facility" by a couple in their fifties.

According to the police , Martha is a young white woman with brown hair and green eyes, standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. Her daughters both have blonde hair and blue eyes.

She is driving a 2015 white Ford Explorer with a Kansas license plate reading "301RJY", with federal cops believing Corney and Elizabeth Klaasen may be involved in the disappearance. "Investigators believe they may have been coerced to travel to Mexico to a religious rehabilitation facility with Corney and Elizabeth Klaasen," the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) said in a Facebook post.

The Klaasens are thought to possibly be driving a white and black Chevy Blazer with a Mexico tag. Corney is described as a 6-foot-2, clean-shaven male who weighs approximately 200 pounds. He is dressed in jeans and a button-up shirt. While the authorities haven't provided Elizabeth's description, they shared a picture that shows that the couple are white with brown hair and glasses.

Local authorities are asking the public for help locating the missing family. Kansas Bureau of Investigation said it wants to “check the welfare of Martha and her children”, and is asking for anyone with information on their whereabouts to call 911 immediately.

An endangered persons advisory has been issued for Martha and her young daughters. It's unclear how Martha may have known the Klaasens or what the nature of the "religious rehabilitation facility" in Mexico they may have "coerced" her to go to is. A relative posted to Facebook saying: "Praying Martha and the girls will be home soon. If any one is willing please keep my brother and his family in your prayers."

If you see the subjects or vehicles connected to this endangered person's advisory, call 911 immediately. If you have any other information about this case, please call the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office at 620-675-2289.
