Jon Jones pleads not guilty to two misdemeanor charges stemming from alleged drug test incident
UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor charges Wednesday in Bernalillo County (N.M.) court arraignment Wednesday. Jones, 36, appeared virtually with attorney Christopher Dodd at the hearing, which was presided over by Judge Brittany Maldonado Malott. Jones pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of assault and interference with communications. MMA Fighting first reported details of the proceeding. The Street Slayerz Car Club will host a benefit raffle, starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 19, in the Farmington Fun Center parking lot at 6520 E. Main St. There is a $5 car cruise entry fee, and all makes and models are encouraged to participate. The raffle tickets will start at $10 per raffle ticket, or two tickets for $18 or three tickets for $25. All proceeds raised from the event will benefit fallen peace officer Bill Hooser's family.
