APD says murder rate going down in Albuquerque
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Murders in Albuquerque are down compared to recent years, according to the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) Chief Harold Medina. As of Tuesday, there have been 47 murder victims in Albuquerque; that’s down by more than a quarter compared to this time last year. “I think nationally you see the same trends that a lot of other major cities have spiked and they’re starting to go back down,” said Gilbert Gallegos, public information officer for APD.

FARMINGTON – Sandlot Tulsa, coming off a championship game victory Sunday in the AABC Oklahoma Qualifiying Tournament, are headed back to the Connie Mack World Series.
