EDENTON – The Town of Edenton and the Edenton Police Department are pleased to announce that Mr. George Robinson has been named Interim Police Chief, effective Aug. 1, 2024. While in Edenton, Interim Chief Robinson will step in to lead the police force amidst the retirement of Chief Henry A. King Jr, continuing Chief King’s legacy and upholding the same precedents and professional standards that have been put in place by his leadership.
