Teen dies after head-on collision on Highway 44 west of Star
BOISE, Idaho — A teen is dead after they were involved in a head-on collision Thursday night on Highway 44 near Star. Idaho State Police reported around 8:40 p.m., a 30-year-old man from Middleton was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado west on the highway and tried to overtake a semi-tuck. The Silverado was in the eastbound lane when the pickup truck crashed head-on into a teen driving a 2011 Ford Focus with two teen passengers.

The Eagle Rock Art Guild (ERAG) is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization founded in 1948. Their annual Sidewalk Art Festival will take place on Saturday, July 20 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Idaho Falls Greenbelt Riverwalk on Memorial Drive.
