BELLEVUE’S Bently Ernst, son of Chris and Katie Ernst, who was recently named the State Winner of the annual patriot essay contest, “What the Flag Means to Me,” sponsored by Bellevue American Legion Post #273, was recently honored at the State Summer American Legion Summer Meeting in Des Moines.
