Kordell Beckham, a 21-year-old from Dallas, Texas, and Serena Page, a 24-year-old from Houston, Texas, were one of four couples in the Love Island USA Season 6 finale, along with Kendall and Nicole; Leah and Miguel; and JaNa and Kenny. Kordell and Serena were also both original islanders who arrived in the villa on day one and the only couple in the Love Island USA Season 6 to have both members be original islanders.

Kordell and Serena coupled up at the first coupling and remained together until week three when Kordell left Serena to couple up with Daia McGhee , a bombshell from Casa Amor. Serena, who received a video of Kordell and Daia kissing in Casa Amor, chose to become single at the recoupling.

Kordell and Serena remained broken up for several days until they reconnected after an emotional conversation over their feelings for each other and Kordell apologized for his actions in Casa Amor. Kordell and Serena recoupled at the next recoupling, which left Daia single and led to her dumping. After their drama with Daia, Kordell and Serena came out stronger than ever and remained coupled up until the Love Island USA Season 6 finale in week 5, where they were announced as the winners.

Are Kordell and Serena still together from Love Island USA Season 6?

Kordell confirmed he and Serena were still together in an Instagram post on July 22, 2024, the day after the Love Island USA Season 6 , in which he thanked fans for their support. “Im so loss of words right now‼️ Thank yall so much for the Luv and support throughout the show, we wouldn’t have made it without yall. This is only the beginning..whaaaaaa😎 #ClosedOff #BlackLove #LoveWins #2ndChance #wedidit #yourfavoritecouple❤️ #loveisland,” he captioned a carousel of photos of him and Serena, which he tagged her in.

Serena, for her part, also confirmed that she and Kordell were still together in her own Instagram post of them together. “Your @loveislandusa season 6 WINNERS!!!!!❤️ Thank you all for your support throughout this season, we couldn’t have done it without y’all!!! Cheers to KORENA FOREVAAA,” she captioned the post. (Serena and Kordell also both follow each other on Instagram.)

Still, not much time has passed between when the Love Island USA Season 6 finale filme and when it aired so anything can change for Kordell and Serena’s relationship. Voting ended for the Love Island USA Season 6 winner on July 19, 2024, while the finale aired on July 21, 2024, which meant that, at the time the episode was released, Serena and Kordell had only been out of the villa for a day or two. Coye Simmons, the first contestant dumped on Love Island USA Season 6, also confirmed to The Sun that episodes air only a “matter of days” after they’re filmed.

As for whether Kordell and Serena stay together, the chances don’t look good. Of Love Island USA ’s past five seasons, only three couples are still together now—Season 5 winners Hannah and Marco; Season 5 finalists Bergie and Taylor; and Season 3 runners-up Kyra and Will—which means the odds are against Kordell and Serena.

There is one positive, though. Unlike the other couples in the Love Island USA Season 6 finale, Kordell and Serena also don’t have the issue of distance, which seems to be the main reason that couples from the Love Island franchise break up. Kordell is from Dallas, Texas, while Serena is from Houston, just under 300 miles away. Kordell and Serena already have a leg up on other Love Island USA couples who stayed together despite being from different states. Of the Love Island USA couples who are still together, all of them are from different states—and even countries. Hannah is from Palm Springs, California, while Marco is from Girard, Ohio. Bergie is from Cottage Grove, Minnesota, while Taylor is from Orange County, California. And Kyra is from Honolulu, Hawaii, while Will is from Medellin, Colombia.

Kordell and Serena’s other advantage is that they’re both original islanders who arrived in the villa on day one. Each of the Love Island USA couples who are still together have at least one member who was a day one islander, while Will and Kyra were the only couple where both members were original contestants.

Regardless of what happens to Kordell and Serena, they at least have one unlikely supporter: Kordell’s Casa Amor ex, Daia, who told Today in July 2024 that she was still rooting for Kordell and Serena, despite their drama in the villa when Kordell briefly left Serena for Daia.

“I really love Kendall  and Nicole. I just find them so sweet and so genuine,” Daia said when asked about which couples she thought should make it to the Love Island USA Season 6 finale. “From being around them, you can just tell that they really like each other. And then I’m going to go for Serena and Kordell, because obviously I know all the stuff that they went through and how crazy their situation had (gotten), and how strong that they are now.”

Kordell and Serena also have the support of his older brother, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who made an appearance during the meet the family episode and voiced his support of Kordell and Serena staying together after leaving the villa. “I’m seeing him smiling, like, I can see y’all smile, you could just tell it’s genuine,” OBJ said, calling Serena a “great partner” to his younger brother.
