Few people can really do this song justice, because it's not easy to sing... But Carrie Underwood is one of those artists. Over the weekend, she played her first-ever shows in Hawaii at the Blaisdell Center for what sounds like a very excited (and loud) crowd. Carrie actually shared a post on Instagram saying she and her band think the first night was the "loudest crowd we’ve ever played for": https://www.instagram.com/p/C9p4PwKPXSp/?img_index=1 Pretty impressive, Hawaii. And during her set, where Carrie ran through hits like "Before He Cheats" and "Jesus Take the Wheel," she also delivered an epic cover of Journey's mega hit "Don't Stop Believin'." Of course, Carrie is a
big fan of rock and roll , so it doesn't surprise me that she pulled this one out for a big show, and her equally big and impressive voice did the song justice and it looked like a really awesome moment to see in person. I think we all know the history of the classic Journey song, which was released in October of 1981 as the second single from the band's seventh studio album, Escape . It was written by Steve Perry, guitarist Neal Schon, and keyboardist Jonathan Cain, and as of 2017, was certified eighteen-times Platinum by RIAA. I mean, we all know Carrie's an incredible vocalist, and it's incredibly fun to see her let loose and just belt out a song like this because she's so damn good at it.
