Teenager Critically Injured in Shooting at Hawkinsville Block Party, GBI Seeking Assistance from Community
A quiet Georgia neighborhood was disrupted early Sunday morning when gunshots rang out at a block party on MLK Jr. Blvd in Hawkinsville. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the incident left a 17-year-old from Eastman critically injured. Responding deputies from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office found the teenager with an apparent gunshot wound. He was promptly rushed to the hospital where he remains in critical condition.
