STATEWIDE ALERT – Minnesota Teen Missing Since Late May
St. Cloud, MN (KROC-AM News) - A statewide missing person alert has been issued for a Minnesota teenager who has been missing since late May. The alert issued by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says 17-year-old Shikita Katie Jones was reported as a runaway from the home of a relative in St. Cloud on May 25. Officials say she is believed to be with an unidentified adult male.

One Minnesota water park is working with state officials to determine the source of a parasite that caused a "diarrheal illness" to guests. The Minnesota Department of Health says the guests got the illness that can cause symptoms like diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps and pains, and a fever from Cryptosporidiosis, which is spread from the stool of an infected person.

Police seeking answers 6 years after Brenda Kartes homicide
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Six years ago Friday (July 12th), Brenda Kay Kartes walked away from Centre Inc. and disappeared and was subsequently murdered. She checked out of Centre at 3501 Westrac Drive to go to a local park around 1:30 p.m. on July 12, 2018 and didn’t return as scheduled. Her remains were found on August 22, 2019 at Riverside Cemetery by the river.
