EDMOND, OKLA (KOKH) — The Sam's Club located at 1117 W I-35 Frontage Road in Edmond just launched a new Community Recycling Unit in partnership with Walmart. The free, self-service drop-off container provides a free recycling location that can accept materials that may not be accepted in local curbside bins.

University of Texas swimmer Aaron Shackell placed eighth in the 400-meter freestyle final at the Paris Olympics, clocking in at 3:47.00, while Hubert Kos, also from Texas, helped Hungary secure an eighth-place position in the 4x100-meter freestyle relay final.
