Family honors Memory of 8-year-old with lemonade stand for Make-A-Wish Idaho
COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – In honor of their 8-year-old daughter Jaicey, who tragically passed away from an undiagnosed illness, her family organized a lemonade stand. The lemonade stand was a tribute to Jaicey, celebrating her memory and the positive impact of Make-A-Wish Idaho on children facing challenges in their lives. According to her family, the stand symbolized hope, offered moments of refreshment and helped build confidence, among other wonderful things.
Texas Fire Update for Monday, July 22
Containment increased to 60% as firefighters made significant progress yesterday securing the fireline. Crews completed initial mop-up for most of the fire area, gridding 100 feet into the black from the fireline, to search for and extinguish lingering heat. Firefighters assigned to the eastern spot completed hose lays three-quarters of the way around the perimeter, with engines working in areas where hose cannot be laid. Yesterday, a snag fell down creating visible smoke from the interior of the eastern spot; crews quickly responded and cooled the area with water. While mop-up operations continue, interior smoke may still be visible from time to time.

Two ATV riders flown to hospital after being hit by van
HAZELTON — Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 10:35 p.m. on Saturday eastbound on East 500 South Road near South 2400 East in Hazelton. A 32-year-old male of Hazelton was traveling eastbound in a 1994 Chevy G20 Van. A 28-year-old male was traveling eastbound on a 2017 Honda ATV with a 25-year-old female, as his passenger, both out of Hazelton.

According to a Monday morning update from officials, the fire's total footprint was estimated at 1,565 acres.
