The expansion will be the second New Path development to provide permanent supportive housing (PSH) in Boise. WARNING: Idaho’s Climate Apocalypse Fizzles Out
The Democrats staffing America’s newsrooms would have us believe man-made activities cause our summer heatwave. I would post the latest scaremongering from the New York Times, but it’s behind a paywall. Also, you already know the routine. Blame farming, cattle, and efficient automobiles. None of This is New.
One more day until it feels cooler again - Matt
Monday will still be brutally hot, but not as nuts as Sunday was. We only have to get through one more day before it will start to be cooler again. Now for a few days cooler will mean the mid-90s, but after this weekend that will feel pretty good.

BOISE — At the Boise Farmers Market, Chuck Guthrie stops by the Purple Sage Farms booth to peruse the greens and specialty vegetables, as he frequently does. “The farther away I get from the farmer, the less trust I have,” he said.

Boise State Roster Countdown 2024: Day 42, Mason Hutton
6 touchdowns (and six extra points) ’til football season, folks! Presenting: Mr. Mason Hutton. High school: Hillcrest HS (Riverside, CA) Mason was a walk-on to the program with a noble dream of becoming Long Snapper 1. Long Snappers have their own world in terms of recruiting, and Kohl’s kicking rated Mason a 4.5 star long snapper, and #23 overall. This is what I would call good, and it’s clear Boise State thought the same.
Looking back: This week in eastern Idaho history
100 years agoThe Bonneville Cow Testing association held its first picnic this week in July 1924, with close to 300 dairymen, farmers and businessmen attending the event, held at the A.H. Beasley ranch nine miles south of Idaho Falls. “The picnic was a decided success and marked another step for Idaho toward its recognition as the premier dairying state of the country,” the Salt Lake Tribune reported. The program included addresses by A.H. Upham, president of the University of Idaho; E.G. Bennett, vice president of the Anderson Bros. Bank of Idaho Falls; D.P. Murray, district club leader among the boys and girls; and C.R. Richards, county agent of Teton County. M.B. Yeaman presided as chairman. Red Eye, owned by Carl Johnson of the Sunny Side dairy, won first place in butter-fat production with a record 175.3 pounds. Mary Pack won the milking contest while a yearling calf belonging to her 13-year-old daughter, Florence, won first place in the heifer contest.
Darts duo does valley proud
Jul. 20—Rhonda Mader of Lewiston has been the dominant force in area women's dart-throwing for around 15 years. The secret to her precision? "There's usually beer involved," she said. The relaxing buzz derived from light alcohol consumption is commonly considered to steady the hand and nerves of a dart-thrower. That said, this is a case in which more is not necessarily better. "There's a fine ...
