Recent Penn High School Graduate and soon-to-be student at Purdue University, Bella Bauer is representing the state of Indiana as Miss Indiana Teen 2024. Though she won the biggest title at the competition, Bauer also won the preliminary talent award, overall dance award, tied for the overall interview award and the Joy of Life award.

Econo Lodge Motel must pay the estate of Alex Chronis a total of $2.06 million after the 76-year-old man died after sustaining third-degree burns after shower at the motel. The estate originally filed the lawsuit in October 2022 in Kentucky’s Kenton County Circuit Court for $7 million in damages.

Man in hospital after Southside neighborhood shooting
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man is in the hospital after a shooting in the Southside neighborhood Saturday morning, according to Louisville Metro police. LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said around 4 a.m. officers were called to the Circle K in the Beechmont neighborhood at South 3rd and Woodlawn where they found a man shot in the leg. He was taken to UofL Hospital where he is expected to survive.
