    Warriors golf travels to Hayfield for multi-school meet

    The boys and girls Warriors golf teams both traveled to the Harmony Golf Course in Harmony on Thursday, April 12, and the Oaks Golf Club in Hayfield on Saturday, April 13 for two multi-school meets.

    In Harmony, the girls took second place with an overall score of 217 among the three-team field, just behind the Fillmore Central Falcons. The top scorer for the girls was Jazzlyn Hauser in fourth place, shooting 50 on nine holes, followed by Hayden Harms with a 53. The rest of the Warriors field followed as such: Maggie Herman with a 54, Alexis Sauer scoring 60, Ellison Harms with a 61 and Emersyn Klug with a 68.

    The boys team at Harmony saw the Warriors take second place here as well, scoring 191 behind the Fillmore Central Falcons. Top score for the boys was JT Hammell with a 40, then Evan Milde with a 48. The rest of the boys scored as follows: Isaac Blocker with 50, Dylan Schroeder scoring 53, Alex Henke with a 59 and Noah Berger with a 61.

    Hayfield

    At Hayfield, the field was much more expanded and saw teams from all levels. Out of 11 teams, the Lady Warriors took third with a 426 score, behind Fillmore Central and Austin. Top scorers for the Lady Warriors were Jazzlyn Hauser with a 93 in 18 holes, followed by Hayden Harms with a 105. The rest of the Lady Warriors field saw Maggie Herman with a 108, Ellison Harms with a 120, Alexis Sauer with a 122 and Emersyn Klug with a 138.

    The boys team placed 12 out of 14 teams with a score of 437 – with JT Hammell leading the way for the Warriors with an 89. Dylan Schroeder was the next highest Warrior with a 110. The rest of the field scored as such: Isaac Blocker with 115, Evan Milde with a 123, Noah Berger with 125 and Alex Henke with 143.

    The Warriors golf teams were set to face La Crescent-Hokah at the Ma Cal Grove Country Club on Monday, April 16.

    The girls team will head to Willow Creek Golf Course in Rochester on Wednesday, April 17. This will be followed by an invitational for both boys and girls teams at the Ferndale Country Club in Rushford on Saturday, April 19.
