SEDGWICK COUNTY —Police continue the search for a 16-year-old Kansas girl accused in a violent attack on a Kansas teen. Just after noon May 26, police responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of N Dodge in Wichita, according to Wichita Police Captain Aaron Moses. The victim in this case, an 18-year-old girl later arrived at an area hospital with second degree burns to the face and neck believed to be caused by a suspect throwing an acidic liquid on her during a physical fight.

Hays man sentenced on charge of fleeing, eluding law enforcement
A Hays man who led law enforcement on a high-speed chase while under the influence of methamphetamine on March 17 was sentenced to 16 months in prison on Monday. Cody Armbrister, 30, was sentenced in Ellis County District Court to prison on one count of felony fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcement.
