Local runners traverse Grandma's Marathon

Hayward area runners were among the thousands of finishers of Grandma’s Marathon or Garry Bjorklund Half-Marathon Saturday June 22 on a course from Two Harbors to Duluth on Lake Superior’s north shore. They were:

Marathon

Hayward women: Brooke Damaske, 31, 4:30:30; Erin Ewert, 18, 4:16:46; Christi Forbes, 39, 5:28:50; Kate Handberg, 29, 4:20:50; Joy Keller, 51, 3:09:49; Andrea Lindsay, 47, 5:35:57; Alexandra Vreeland, 31, 4:30:31; Andrea Yancy, 40, 5:08:19.

Hayward men: Jon Aderman, 27, 4:37:17; Josh Heyworth, 49, 4:20:43; Tyler Mann, 24, 3:40:14; Ben Quicksell, 24, 3:40:11.

Half-marathon

Hayward runners who completed the Garry Bjorklund Half-Marathon were:
