Wednesday, July 10 was a sunny, warm day for golf —finally! Twenty-four ladies from the Big Fish Ladies Nine-Hole Golf League enjoyed playing on the front nine.

Proxy winners for the day were Linda Ellwein, with the closest to the pin chip on #1, and Linda Anderson, with the longest first putt on #7. Janet Platner had a birdie on #9, and Kym Kirk had a chip in on #9. Janet Platner also hit the fairway/green on all nine holes.

The game for the July 12 Lakeview Golf and Pizza Friday Morning Ladies Golf League was Best Score on the Even Holes. Carol Himle and Jean Purtell tied for first place. Mary Jo Gromacki and Louise Henk tied for second. Jean Purtell took home the putting honors for the day.

The next outing will be at 9 a.m. Friday, July 19. The game for the day will be a Best Ball Scramble. New players are always welcome. For more information call Lakeview at 715-462-3787.
