4-H events are coming to Illinois in a big way
EASTERN ILLINOIS (WTWO,WAWV)– Over the rest of the month of July Eastern Illinois will play host to a numerous amount of 4-H showcases. Clark, Edgar, and Crawford counties all are having 4-H fairs over the coming weeks allowing all their members a chance to show their hard work on the projects they’ve been spending time on. 4-H members have been working on their projects in several fields from dealing with livestock of all shapes and sizes to clothing and textiles, and more. We will be giving a breakdown of the events and locations as well as links to find more complete info.
Woman Injured in Shooting at Amazon Fulfillment Center in Matteson, Suspected Retaliation for Earlier Dispute
A woman was injured during a shooting at an Amazon fulfillment center in Matteson on Sunday night, authorities confirmed. The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the location of 7001 Vollmer Road. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Matteson police found a 33-year-old woman with a graze wound to the head when they arrived on the scene.
