Head Start classes to remain at Chesterfield Community Center
Macomb County’s Head Start early education program will remain at the Chesterfield Community Center for the coming school year. The Chesterfield Township Board of Trustees Tuesday authorized Supervisor Brad Kersten to sign a letter of agreement between the township and county to provide space at the community center for the operation of Head Start preschool classrooms from Sept. 1 to Aug. 31, 2025. The township will be paid a stipend of $2,500 per classroom, totaling $7,500 in revenue for the 2024-2025 school year.
