WATCH: HBCU Football Is Back | 2024 Hype Video

After a long offseason, HBCU football is finally back and we have dropped our 2024 hype video to get our fans ready for the week 1 kickoff.

Week 0 featured a MEAC/SWAC Challenge matchup between Florida A&M (FAMU) University and Norfolk State University that kicked off the 2024 HBCU football Season with a nailbiter.

FAMU showed that even though they lost several players and coaches from its 2023 HBCU National Championship team, they should still be considered one of the teams to beat.

The defending Celebration Bowl Champions topped the HBCU Gameday preseason FCS Poll. Following behind them at No. 2 is North Carolina Central and behind them at at No. 3 is Howard University, a team that beat NCCU by 30 points to become MEAC Champions in 2023. The Defending MEAC Champion Howard Bison have a great Homecoming matchup with the No. 4 ranked Tennessee State University in October, and at No. 5, the Jackson State Tigers are a sleeper team in 2024 that is ready to climb back to the top of the SWAC mountain. Below is the full HBCU Gameday preseason FCS poll.
