HASTINGS — The initial draft of the 350-page Fiscal Year 2025 budget book is now available on the Finance Department page on cityofhastings.org. “Staff has done an excellent job preparing their budgets and doing so in record time,” City Administrator Shawn Metcalf said. “Because of these efforts council members have approximately three additional weeks to review the budget compared to last year. A special thanks to Finance Director Roger Nash and our finance department for all their work to prepare the budget. Additionally, a special thanks to HR, Engineering, and others who have put in a significant amount of time preparing items in the budget such as personnel and salary schedules, capital outlay, fee schedules, etc.”
